From Salon Scissors to House Keys: My Pet Sitting Adventure Begins!

Hey everyone! Long time no type, huh? For those who don't know, I used to blog regularly back in my salon days. I really missed it, so I figured it's about time I dust off the keyboard and share what I've been up to lately.

Yep, you guessed it – I've officially dived headfirst into the world of house and pet sitting. And let me tell you, it's been a whirlwind! I've been doing it for just over four months now and honestly, I'm completely hooked. I never imagined it would keep me so busy, but there's always something interesting happening.

It's still very much a learning curve, though. Every application, every conversation with a potential host, is a new adventure. Figuring out how to nail that perfect introduction email? Still a work in progress!

Remember when I closed my salon in September 2022? Best decision ever. Seriously. This lifestyle is a breath of fresh air, a taste of freedom I didn't realize I was missing. Don't get me wrong, it's not *always* sunshine and roses. There have been moments of doubt, those little niggling voices whispering, "Are you sure about this?" But I think that's just good old-fashioned fear of the unknown kicking in.

But honestly, those moments of doubt just fuel my fire. They remind me why I made this change in the first place: to chase after what makes me truly happy. And you know what? This does! I've learned so much about myself in just a few short months, and I'm excited to see where this journey takes me.
