Okay, I can officially say it: my phone's been ringing off the hook all day! Well, okay, more like buzzing off the hook. It's all texts these days, isn't it? Still, wanted to use that phrase, haha!
It does make me miss the old-school, handheld home phone though. You know, the kind you could actually slam down when you were mad? Speaking of, I actually have an old, pink, retro phone in my studio. Found it in a lighting shop on Old Compton Street. It worked for a while, but then just gave up the ghost. Sigh.
Anyway, today's the day! Christmas shopping this morning, then meeting up with some clients for a little festive get-together just down the road.
My diary is pretty packed this month, but don't think I'm chained to my desk every single day! I'm a workaholic, I know (thanks, friends, for the "gentle" reminders!), and I love what I do, but a girl's gotta have variety, right? So I'm venturing out into the world, trying not to be a complete hermit.
So if you don't hear from me, just assume I'm either buried under a mountain of deadlines OR having a jolly good time with Mr. Santa Claus himself. 😉
